What:  Announces seven on seven summer passing league at Heritage Hills Athletic Club

Why:  Ballyhoo Sports Academy at HHAC is excited to announce the 2014 season of the 7-on-7 Summer Passing Leagues, Tournaments, Trainings and Teams in York, PA!

This is a passing and receiving program designed for the positions of quarterback, running back, receiver, tight-end, defensive end, linebacker and defensive backs. There are no lineman, blocking or tackling. The league will emphasize the passing game versus a variety of man and zone pass coverage and games will be played on the large, 150' x 100' turf field.

Leagues will be offered in the following four age groups:  U12, U14, JV and Varsity. Games will be held between 5pm - 9pm Mondays, Tuesdays or Sundays depending on the age group starting the week of June 2.  This is an eight game season; game length is 44 minutes. Under the direction of Ivan Quinones, Ballyhoo Sports Academy will launch their football program this year.  Quinones has been coaching football since 1996 and has made it to the District III Playoffs for six seasons, the 2011 State Playoffs and the 2011 YAIAA Division I Championship.  He is the Director of Football Development for the York County Youth Football Association; has been a clinician at various football camps including NFL's Youth and High School Player Development Camps; a panel expert for the PA Region of USA Football's Youth Development Forum; an executive board member for the Anne Arundel County Youth Football Association; Commissioner of the Severn Athletic Club; and has coached players to Division I, II, III colleges.  Quinones is a retired Commander with the Maryland State Police where he was Commander of the Training Academy.
